My buddy wants his Fender Bass body re-painted a Fender creme color and wanted me to ask you guys where he should look into having this done and reasonable on the price? Thanks from my buddy Steve!

maybe cheaper to get a replacement body from Warmoth.... mind you i guess he enjoys the tone of the body he has now eh... but i'd be more willing to get another body over repainting one... In my area i have 2 sources for quality painting... but they are Toronto local... and costly

+1. If you want to check out prices look at GMW guitars for refinishing, but it would most likely cost the same, if not cheaper to get a pre painted body from Warmoth from their showcase

He's cheaper than alot people that I've gotten quotes from including GMW and not that much more expensive than Warmoth. Never hurts to shop around and get quotes.

Check at Musikraft.com John. They do nitro finishing very reasonably on the body's you buy from them, but I don't know if they do re-fin's. Otherwise, the guy that Tommy at USAG uses would probably be the best, unless you HAVE to have nitro.

Check around with some local auto body paint shops. If they're spraying a color that day that he likes, they might spray the body for him for not too much dinero. The body will just need to be prepped and ready to be sprayed beforehand.

Outstanding job I hear. I need to get back in the Biz.:smack: I used to be able to do a Nitro Job for forum Bros. around half the norm $$. Than I moved to a small apt. where I have no work area.:blackeye:

I've been waiting on a guitar to come back from being painted (shop shall remain nameless) and set up since June. I've seen pic's of the paint, and it seems to look nice. But I'm starting to wonder if it will ever show up, it was suppose to be here by Christmas...
As of last week, Dave is no longer accepting work. He's tied up doing work for five other builders.
I've been waiting on a guitar to come back from being painted (shop shall remain nameless) and set up since June. I've seen pic's of the paint, and it seems to look nice. But I'm starting to wonder if it will ever show up, it was suppose to be here by Christmas...

Last time I spoke with Dawn at Naked Body it was the same story. She was backed up with more than 6 months of work and couldn't take any more jobs.
