Best replacement pups for Epiphone Night Hawk

Hi guys. I bought an Epiphone Night Hawk custom reissue and obviously I'm not satisfied with the standard Epi pups. So, I decided to replace them with Seymour Duncan. For the bridge I chose a Seymour Duncan SH-1 Slanted '59 Humbucker, but what about the middle single coil and the neck mini humbucker? What do you suggest? :scratchch

Is this the one with the middle single having the height screws going through the bobbin? The problem with this guitar is that 2 of the pickups are a pain to replace (the slanted one and the single coil). Maybe someone here knows of a single coil that would fit without routing. Otherwise, you can have Seymour Duncan rewind what you already have (or order from the Custom Shop). As far as th neck, my favorite neck mini humbucker is the Vintage Mini. I am assuming the dimensions of this pickup is the same as what you have.

the middle pup is a pita to replace so if you really want to, its probably easier to have it rewound. i love the antiquity II firebird and mini-humbuckers

What music do you plan on playing with the guitar?

Well: rock-blues, some fusion (i.e. Pat Metheny), and some gig from ZZ Top. I know that they are very different genres, but I would like to get the most from this versatile guitar enhancing it characteristics. So my idea is simply to install better pickups without changing the basic conception of the instrument. Thanx for any advice

Yes exactly.

The problem with this guitar is that 2 of the pickups are a pain to replace (the slanted one and the single coil). Maybe someone here knows of a single coil that would fit without routing. if you buy the slant bridge pup then there should be no issue there, it should be a direct replacement. the issue is with the middle pup since almost no one makes a single coil like that

I agree with jeremy that the reason they are a pain to replace is that no one makes them, really. You can have your original pickups rewound, or the Custom Shop can make any wind you want in a slanted form.
