what´s the best combo from SD PICKUPS to acchieve that
CARCASS-HEARTWORK sound in a IBANEZ With the classicalwood configuration : Basswood body, maple neck with or without a rosewood fretboard?

I´ll not buy a guitar right now, it is just one WILL to buy ahahahahahah
but if it was today, i will be in a doubt to choose between two models :
DD/DD
DISTORTION PARALLEL AXIS /FULL SHRED.

i think the full shred neck pup is a great choice, good clarity even with loads of distortion with a nice full, punchy tone. the patb distortion is a flame thrower

I voted for the DD/DD. You really can't go wrong. I've got that set-up in my Hamer Diablo and it absolutely smokes. Plus, when I split the pickups, I get really nice cleans as well.

I´ll no do that because : When people come to see my guitar, they will ask "OH, holy ****, you guitar suffered an ATTACK from MARTIAN TROOPS!?!!!"
and i´ll say, no guys, it was just some DRILL HOLES that i had to do because of teh battery clips. cause those pickups live wire series from sd uses 18 volts instead of 9, so, for each 1 pickup, i should use 2 batteries. ahahahahaha
only a custom made ibanez will handle those full of batteries spaces inside the guitar cavities.
am i right or wrong?

For a Carcass-like sound I'd suggest DD-B and Full Shred-N. It seems at the first touch that Carcass guys have a massive mass-destructive sound, but they instead of oversized brewtality use a pretty defined sound withjust extremely wide spectrum (multiple amps recorded etc). You will need much clarity, good EQ setting and slightly reduced distortion to get that tone.



For absolute overkill, I'd suggest an Invader double set :headbang:

What you need is Full Distortion! I think a guitar would look most unholy with a double set of Dimebuckers. Why not? You've always wanted a hotrails humbucker, The F'in Hails Rails. 2 Dimebuckers!!!!!!!

Hows Befamal going? Have been listening to the two mp3's a lot recently.

The invader worked prety good on the Jackson Ke3 kelly I sold a few weeks ago, but not that good... I don't know if I will recomend it...Bassy, ugly, low output. Quite cool actualy :laugh2: Sounded like I played in a bucket... I also think I got the InvaderNeck in bridge position... And InaderBridge in neck position :laugh2:

What people mean when they say extreme metal is also quite diverse...

IF I Really FIND AN Ibanez axe in agood quality and good price to BUY, i´ll serious think in getting one of those combos.
DD or PA Distortion trembucker/Full shred neck.
if the body wood is alder, maple or ash, i´ll go with DD, i guess it is heavier than the parallel distortion, and if the wood is dark or equally like basswood i´ll go for parallel distortion full shred.
the weird thing is... i HAD a duncan distortion a few years ago. it was my first aftermaker pickup.but i didn´t know nothing about pickup and tone woods
i had a 27frets guitar, Cedar body, maple neck, rosewood board and floyd rose....
and the duncan distortion sounded Harsh and TOO much output... from what i have remembered.
am i right or wrong?
anyone that has DD in the bridge of an axe with cedar body and maple neck with rosewood fingerboard would like to say somethign about this?
