"Best" Set Overall

OK, I need to get my #1 back to 100% and be done with this tone-chasin', parts-robbin', new gear-buyin', head-scratchin', not-ever-playin' roller coaster I have been the past few years! :eyecrazy:

#1 is my ESP 62 reissue, fairly heavy body with maple V neck, tends to be bright with decent twang and good sustain. I have TX Specials N/M and Screamin Demon Bridge, no tone on Demon and splitter and blender are not hooked up; the Demon is cool and works well for a lot of styles, the TS sound flat and blah compared to the Fat 50s or Fralins. Oh, my JB Strat has Fralin Real 54 set at the moment but that can change based on what I do with #1...

Here are 5 options I have parts for and could install this weekend:

1 - Fralin 54 N/M and Pearly Bridge and Blender

2 - Fat 50 N/M and Screamin Demon Bridge

3 - Fat 50 N/M and C5 Bridge with split and Blender

4 - Fat 50 N/M and SSL3 Bridge with Blender

5 - Dimarzio Fast Track I N/M and Chopper Bridge with Blender

I play thru a Fender Super Champ XD; ch1 is BF Twin sounds and ch2 is hot Marshall/Soldano gain sounds. I am hoping to find a set-up that can do nice Strat neck clean, cool blues (Albert King, Buddy Guy, Ronnie Earl), crunch (early King's X, VH, 80s riffing), and lead (Ty Tabor, Billy Gibbons, Rory Gallagher) without having to tweak or stomp too much. I guess the sound would be a good single-coil/PAF tone that has definition and twang but is still fairly thick and crunchy...

If you have an alternative set, I am interested or if I am asking the "umpossible", please let me know; my Christmas wish is to get this resolved with parts on hand so I can just get back to playing every day. Thanks!

StraBro90 N/M, P-Rail bridge. Gotta be a tone in there for you somewhere! And you get to use all your switching doo-dads.

as for a suggestion for the bridge, if you've got the technical skill, why don't you make a hybrid out of the pearly gates and custom? from what i hear, paf/custom style hybrids are pretty bada$$, being that they have decent output and vintage-y tone, and having good harmonic overtones from the imbalanced coils.

Everyone says dont use 500k vol pot with singles, but the TS is the only one which works with a 500k. The Demon on the other hand is quite bright with a 500k, it works better with 250k. This is the reason why your combo doesnt work!
