Best Sounding Guitar bridges - Hardtale

Hi Ive been reading about the Leo Quan Badass Bass bridge that is supposed to improve sustain and intonation and is made out of what they call a 'musical metal'.

Id like to find something like that for my guitar in a hardtale strat style bridge.

Leo Quan does have a guitar bridge available, but its a gibson style bridge.

Anyone here heard of strat style bridges made/designed in a similar way?

Thanks.

"musical metal" sound like hype to me. I have a couple Leo Quan bridges. They're ok.

One good Hardtail bridge I've used a couple times is by Hipshot. Very nice piece of hardware.

It's what I used on this Tele:

They fit Hardtail Strats, but their string spacing is narrow enough for humbuckers.

i have a callaham hard tail that is great, the hipshot is good as is the gotoh. i dont really like the tone of the schaller roller bridge

i feel soo....ok with my stock fender hardtail actually...stainless saddles, no idea the material of the rest of the thing though...sounds pretty good and sustains reeeealllly goood!!!

Re: Best Sounding Guitar bridges - Hardtale

Maybe I could ask this right now, so many people have been telling me brass is a sustain killer, any comments?

I have a ghoto hardtale bridge that is chrome plated brass with chrome plated brass saddles. Im thinkin of getting the replacement steel saddles for it but Im wondering if I should replace the whole bridge with a steel bridge.

i dont think brass is a sustain killer at all. steel will sound brighter than brass. lots of people like brass

Steel is brighter? I have no experience but I thought I remembered hearing the opposite, this may just be something I have to research again when choosing the bridge for my tele project (neck is coming today!!! :nana:)

I dunno about the Badass bridge. I have 3 guitars that should have them but only one that does. I removed it from the other two and got a tonepros wrap around the I like much better. The Badass might add a bit more low end but the intonation is a pain in the butt. less travel under the saddles then with a wrap around. On my 24.5" scale guitars that proved to be a major problem.
