I understand this. My Silhouette Special is my favorite instrument, and I could easily use that for the rest of my life.

I am not doing great with guitar sobriety- I got a Warmoth neck delivered a few weeks ago and a body should show up in the next few weeks.

You are fine. You didn't buy a guitar. You bought a neck, some tuners, a pickup, a body, a bridge, etc...
