Best Splittable Humbucker for Jaguar

I have a fender jaguar (player series) that has a HS configuration. The Humbucker is Splittable but I want to change the pickups out for some lower output ones so that I can get some really clean and chimney, ambient tones (as most of my guitars have hot pickups). I am likely going to put a 'jaguar antiquity II' in the neck but was wondering what people's reccomendations are for a Humbucker in the bridge? It needs to be low output and sound really good when coil split (as I am intending to use it more when split than normally).

You can use any humbucker availiable. Your string spacing is a bit wider like 51.5 mm but you can use Trembucker or F-spaced hunbucker.
Most low wound humbucker sound a little think and clanky when split. So also look into the Stag-Mag (real Strat sound when split) or the P-rail, which is a P90 with a small rail coil on its side.

Okay thanks. Would the pearly gates trembucker do it? I've seen that pearly gates are great both clean and split, so is it necessary to get the trembucker version?

59/Custom Hybrid would be really nice here, it splits really well.

Okay thanks. Would the pearly gates trembucker do it? I've seen that pearly gates are great both clean and split, so is it necessary to get the trembucker version?

The PG sounds too thin when split in my book. Its a coil with shy over 4k (5000 turns with 42 awg on the bobbin). I want 50% more for a still very bright single coil sound in the bridge.
The trembucker is not necessary, but for some folks it looks wonky, if the strings don't line up with pole pieces.

I'd think that the Stag Mag would work for what you want. You get sparkly and real single coil sounds when split, and a choice between a powerful humbuckery tone when in series or half 'bucker/half single coil tone when in parallel.

Make sure the bridge pickup is a 4 conductor version. While a 59, Seth Lover or Antiquity are great choices, you'd need to order them with 4 conductor wires (they usually come with a hot and braided shield).

This is great, cheers for all the great suggestions. I'm liking the look of the 59 now, it sounds great both clean and split (I will make sure to order it with a 4c wire). Will this pair well with an antiquity II' jaguar neck pickup?

Yes, both will give a pretty clean and clear sound without a lot of mids.
