I have a 60's series and love it but, I'm getting a Highway 1 next because it is more resonant. I've never tried a 50 series and the 70's headstock looks silly to me.
I like the Highway 1 because it's USA made and costs the same or a bit less than the MIM and MIK models. I agree with BB about the neck on the Hwy 1 too. It just feels nicer to me. :burnout:
When it comes down to it, the Lite Ash in made in Korea! :thumbsdow and the 50 and 60's series are made in Mexico. :dunno: I want a made in the U.S. Strat and the Hwy 1 is all I can afford. :smack:
