Best strings I have ever used.

There are discusions redarding strings on ocassion, and a rarely reply cause i don't think the strings i use are truly any different than the rest. I have just recently been turned on to Pyramid guitar strings. They sound amazing. My string choices in the past were mostly ones that didn't break real easily. Tone was secondary. These strings are made in an "old" method, whatever that is, and they sound frickin amazing. BUT, they aren't cheap. Zerb may be familiar with them, as they are made in Germany. I have a brand new set of these strings that I bought from www.juststrings.com but I've yet to try them? I bought them because I knew they were great though..

a friend of mine sent me a set of pyramid strings and they were fantastic but i think they are crazy expensive. a bass player friend of mine said that they have bass strings that are like $150 or something like that a set???
can this be true?

I think I Payed around $8 for mine? That's cheap if the tone is really happenin..

Hmm, I've been thinking of tryin' pyramid strings for a while now.. maybe I should put words into action. Don't think they are that expensive though. They're cheaper than elexir around here anyway. The only place I know of that sells them charges 11 Euro for a set and most stores (not all though) here in stockholm charge around 8 Euro for a set of GHS strings and such...

8 bucks for a pack of strings isnt to bad at all if the tone is there.....

I paid 13.00 a set. Looking on there site, they have specialized strings that are for classical strings, maybe they are teh expensive ones.

Like you, I've never really cared and just opt for the cheap 3 Packs from D'Addario.
I'll probably try them if they're cheap enough, but with 13 guitars, I have to go the economical route.

I tried webstrings about a year and a half ago and have since done two orders since.

The strings are consistent; much more than I found I was getting from Ernie Ball or whoever I was using. I also prefer being able to buy in bulk and saving a ton of cash doing it.
