Yeh same sorta until my VOX broke I was using it for clean funkier tones and sweepy stuff yet I reckon the crybaby sounds better for lead although both aren't a good as I'd like. I think I may mod my VOX while fixing it .... i'll see .... of on a tangent i've gone.I was told by people that the crybaby was the standard, but ended up with a vox, just because it sounded good with what I had.
I like the Dunlop Crybaby from Hell wah. It has 6 settings so you can set whether it's high and screaming or low and throaty. It has a sweep control, so you can have a slow, gentle transition or a fast one with a big spike in the middle of it. There's a fine tune, which adjusts how cutting it gets in the tow down, and lastly there's a +1 to +15db boost you can kick on for some extra push if/when you need it.
I'm not a big Pantera guy at all and I avoided this wah for the longest time because of it... but it really is a killer wah pedal and I regret having avoided it for so long.
Freudian slip, LL.
Anyway, I had a CFH when it first came out. I think it's just an overpriced 535 with skateboard grip tape. I can put skateboard grip tape on a dunlop and have the same deal. Same deal with the dimedistortion. I can write "DIMEBAG" on a metal zone and have the same deal.
No. Probably just a sentence structure you're not familiar with.
That would be the most important consideration, though a lot of other important ones have been mentioned too. What type of wah sounds do you like ?
That helps. Although I would second the advice to go to a guitar shop and try a bunch of them out yourself. Thanks for the help. I use a Humbucker. Just looking for a wah with a wide range. Don't want to spend more than 200. One with great clean tones.
But, I mean, like, why would you call yerself a guy?
Are you really a guy pretending to post like a chick? I mean, you are a chick, right? I've always thought that you were a girl. . . . correct, LoL?
Maybe you just think you feel the need to post like that because you post on a board dominated mainly by males, and so "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" ?
I dunno, Daisy.
You have nice Les Pauls, though. Let's have sex.
The WD7 is almost infinitely tweak-able. It has a GREAT bang/buck ratio.try the ibanez weeping demon, its got alot of options, and i love the auto on/off option
