Ha! Absolutely right! Those thick poly coatings would definitely make a car dent resistant lol

Aircraft stripper.

I did one with a heat gun and scraper, it worked on the flat parts but not on any of the routed areas...

It ended up too beat up and gouged to refininish and found it's way into a different super relic'd SRV'ish build.

I ended up ordering a new body from warmoth for the initial project. It was well worth the $200

I was too beat up to refinish so I just put it together raw and it's got a super heavy relic vibe... I ended up buying a warmoth body to finish the initial project.

This will be very hard unless you have an army training site with an artillery range nearby.

the finish on my jackson dkmg peeled right off with a razor blade.
the warrior body i just got looks like its going to be the same way.

I've striped several guitars with a blow dryer. Heat up small area's at a time and peel it off like dead skin!
