best way to wiring HSS with tbx?

Hi, I don´t know anything about wiring.

I got one HSS strat with TB-11 (bridge), SSL-1(middle) and YJM (neck) with a tbx as tone 2...

volume and tone 1 are 250k pots.

The sound is really good, but a little smooth...

I don´t know If the wiring is correct...tbx tone runs to 1,2,3 and 4 positions, the tone 2 effect to 4 and 5 (neck) positions, but no middle pickup in position 3.

I´m thinking to replace volume with yjm or speed pot for better violining, but I don´t know if 250k or 500k.

???

Re: best way to wiring HSS with tbx?

Your post doesn't seem to make any sense. The TBX is on "tone 2" which is connected to the middle pup only. But you say it "runs to 1,2,3 and 4 positions". But then you say (I think) that it has no effect in position 3. Then you seem to be asking about the vol pot...changing it to 250k or 500k.

But I'm not sure what you are asking. Do you want a wiring diagram for hooking up the TBX correctly (it should only work in positions 2,3, and 4, not 1,2,3,4), or are you asking if you should use a 500k vol pot? The 500k will give you more brightness than the 250k.

For wiring questions like this, if you can post detailed pics, it can help the wiring experts here sort this out.

yes, there are two questions, one about tbx wiring, and second to help to chose 250 or 500k volume pot.

I got another fender strat ultra with tbx(tone 1) and runs on all positions 1 to 5 from factory, and tone 2 runs in 3,4, and 5(neck) positions.

So, I think the wiring of my new strat could be incorrect?
