BG 1400, PG Jr, Lil '59 or other for Mahogany Telecaster with Wenge/Ebony (Neck)?

Howdy, howdy.

New build coming up. Got a mahogany telecaster body and a wenge/ebony neck. Now it's time to select the pickups. The bridge is a standard telecaster size, so I'll have to either go with a high output tele pickup or a tele-sized humbucker. So far, I like Pearly Gates Jr. BG 1400 and Lil 59, but I'm open to any other suggestion for my unique wood combo.

I'm looking for ballsy and big sounding rock tones but something not so compressed or EMG-like (if that makes sense). Whatcha suggest? Thanks a ton!

The wooden materials in your guitar are very similar to those in the Chapman Guitars ML-3 RC model. That design uses Li'l '59 bidge/Treble and Hot Rails for Telecaster neck/Rhythm pickups.

Would the Lil 59 be too compressed in a mahogany body with wenge/ebony neck? I had bad experiences with ceramic pickups. Very dynamic player. That doesn't mean it won't be an awesome pup on this one. Thanks a ton!
