BG pickups, experience anyone?

Not to spam or anything, still a loyal SD fan, but I stumled across the website of BG pickups, and they seem really awesome at a decent price, who has experience with these pups and with the delivery/contact service of Mr. Gunsher?

Re: BG pickups, experience anyone?

I have a pair of BG P-90's, sound great, very articulate. They each came with an A4/A2 mag pair, which shows he's creative and open-minded.

He's a very-well stablished, honest p'up winder that makes an excellent product at a fair price.

I don't think you can find anything negative about him.

HTH,

I put BG Hellabucker in my TAT...couldn't get it out fast enough. Despite the name its very PAF-ish and vintagy...did not work in my guitar at all.

I love my BGs. Bryan is just an awesome guy all around and mega easy to work with. He will get you exactly what you're looking for and more. I wish I had money at all because there are a couple ideas I would love to bounce off him as far as interesting winds.

Re: BG pickups, experience anyone?

I tried a neck P90 humbucker he made. I spoke with him about it for a couple messages back and forth. He seemed like a nice guy who was interested in the customer and the pickup sounded great too.

Re: BG pickups, experience anyone?

No experience with his pups, but he's done a couple repairs/rewinds for me and they've been bang on. One was a Super 70s with a dead coil and the other was a vintage zebra Super D out of an 80 Dean...with a dead coil. I dare say the Super D came back sounding better, to my ears, than any other I've ever heard.

Bryan is a great winder. I have used a number of his pups and they are all awesome and well worth the $
