Big Props to Bruce @ Mission Amps

If you guys need a kit or a fully built amp, I cannot praise Bruce enough. His service and support on the kit stuff has always been first rate. He also spends a huge amount of time on message boards helping out guys like me.

Yesterday (Sunday afternoon), I found myself slamming my head into a brick wall trying to de-bug a new amp. Something was just off. It was one of those things where you spend a lot of hours on it and every fix you can think of doesn't work. I figured I'd give Bruce a call and lo and behold he's in the shop working on something. He had me fixed up in about 5 minutes. :beerchug:

I just wanted to publically say what a great guy he remains to this day and give a big THANK YOU to him on the best medium I know.... the net.

He did the same for me when I ran into problems with my 5E3. Ran me through some voltage testing measures.

Great guy, and so knowledgeable.

He's given a ton of valuable info on the 5E3 forum.

I was thinking the same thing! We teachers have a saying about our students -- the leaf doesn't fall too far from the tree. Sounds like the Collins family are really good people!

Bruce makes an amp called the Soulkicker (named after my band!) that's like a tweaked Champ.

It's on his website...it rocks!

For those of you that have not been lately, Bruce has an all new (and quite nice) web site...also, stay tuned...there will be a lot more Bruce/Mission amps talk comming soon (hopefully tomorrow!)...I can't say any more until then, just stay tuned!

The new website doesn't appear to be finished yet, but it's a HUGE improvement. I was preaching to Bruce a year ago that it needed an update. Nice stuff. Good luck on the Aurora. Great name.
