Hey all, i Read this thread over at the Esp forum......I dont want to spoil it so i will just post the link to the thread and you guys tell me what you think.....

I'll sum it up, a ''pro guitar builder'' was trying to sell his Junk Guitars on this forum.....People started realizing this guy dident know what he was talking about, and seemed like a scammer, and wanted to blow his cover, so they got together bought one of his ''custom guitars'' and put it threw the quality test.....

Ha ha ha ha yeah im a member of that forum and that devries guy is a total wank doesnt have a clue what he is on about.

I was able to tear myself away after a page, but ... wow. "The pickups are custom wound." "The hardware is custom made." Yeah, "custom" is always better than some off-the-shelf part that doesn't happen to be a joke or a leftover from a pawn-shawp trainwreck.

That's probably the "custom" foam from the inside of the "custom" case, crumbling off with every "custom" bounce in the
"custom" UPS truck.

i laughed a lot at that thread but jeez, that dude must either be the most self deluded ass ever or just the biggest douche in the world.

There is a pic of a gtr, where the fretboard is hanging over the neck pup...and some dillweed asks: "I was wondering why exactly the end of the fretboard extends to partially cover the neck pickup? Is this to deaden the acoustic sound of the guitar so that it sounds better live?"

What exactly is he getting at? So no Graham Nash escapes your guitar while you're playing Iron Maiden?

The guy would make good shark bait, though.

what the **** is that knot in the back of the guitar??

i dont like "hardcore" looking guitars, especially if they are name some**** like "destroyer".... its bull****... and looks ugly.

but obviously there is a market for those kidna guitarrs, and i hope any luthier makes a shot of it becuase it is alot of hard work.

I can't believe he calls that thing one of his "mid-level" "guitars". I hate to see what his entry level guitars look like. Probably a plank of wood with strings taped to it.

That dudes comment was just LACED with sarcasm. In the beginning there are tons of people who are like "don't let them get to you devries, your guitars rock!" They're all just completely mocking the jackass. I got through the entire thread and laughed really hard, the one with pictures won't open for me anymore, so thanks for posting the video links!
