Bigsby question

does the arm of the bigsby trem come off? I love those gretsch duo jets but i would never use the bigsby... so does the arm come off or can i only fold it back

there's a screw on the bottom & you can take it off

i think you can get them without a bigsby though, check gretsch's site

when they're back they're totally out of the way though, so i mean, there's no point in taking it off, it looks cool if nothing else
