Bigsby For Epiphone Nighthawk...?

Greetings..... has anyone successfully mounted a Bigsby on to one of those Nighthawk Custom Ri's that EPI made some years back?
It's a real swell sounding 3 p/u guitar, but I gots to have my whammy. And, which model Bigs might be best, the long LP type or the smaller surface mount?

You probably want short surface mount. The kind you'd find on an SG. Look up vibramate for a (sometimes) reversible mount with no drilling.

Have you ever used a Bigsby before? Most people I've seen ask how to install one have never used one if that tells you anything. I like em though
