Bill Lawrence L-500 dimensions...

Gday. Ive heard recently from the Bill Lawrence forum that the dimensions for the L-500 pickups is not the same as ur average humbucker. Can u simply install one of these into a normal strat pickgaurd routed for a humbucker or will i need to do some modifications on the pickguard?

i own a 1972 L-500....and its simply amazing...its .....the most ballanced pup ive ever owned and it continues to amaze me everytime i plug it up.

I have installed them into numerous guitars with out any problem.
