Bill Lawrence USA L-500 Rhythm Vintage?

Looking for any and all information on this pick up. Came out of a 1992 Jackson professional dinky. Mostly curious whether it is pre 1984 or not.

Can't get photos to upload - the back of the pickup is engraved "BILL LAWRENCE (next line, centered) USA.". Below that a black sticker with silver type says "L-500 RHYTHM (next line) PATENT PENDING."

there a lot of design changes over the years with BL pickups, even counterfeits of his former business partner. yours seem to be the very early ones. you can see it because of the 'patent pending'. very early 80ties, clearly before 84. there is a fan site any on the web who explains a lot.
