Bioplastic guitar picks

Are bioplastic guitar picks good quality? Are they sturdy enough for strumming? Also do you think all guitar picks are eventually going to be made from bioplastic?

I've never played one, but would be interested in giving some a go. While guitar picks are a small part of the problem, plastics are ubiquitous in our environment and it generally seems like a good idea to reduce use of them wherever possible.

It's one of those momentum things. Biodegradable guitar picks make ya think about what other things could be made out of that material, etc. Not a big footprint for guitar picks versus things like single use packaging, but every bit helps I'm sure. No idea how they sound... get some and report back!

Are we talking about casein? I have a few D’Addario and Red Bear casein picks, love them.
