My Westone looked like that for, like, three days when I had that messed up Super D in it. I wasn't expecting to like it but it actually looked pretty badass.

What kind of guitar are you thinking about doing it to?

I think that if it's what you have laying around, or what's already installed in the guitar (under covers), leave it be. I'm sure people didn't go around swapping PAFs in their Les Pauls back in the day just because the color combination didn't look good...but if you're actually ordering a set of new pickups I might choose another color combo. You could even go double black/zebra or double cream/zebra. I love those two combos.
