Black box head

My old-late neighbor built the amp sometime in the 70s I think. It has 2 12ax7s and 2 EL34s and it sounds very good for clean stuff. Well, to house it, I built this goofy wooden box, painted it with that fake stone stuff and painted it black :laugh2:

The plexitone pedal sounds nice through it too.. a good practice amp and something different to play with :13:

It needs a nameplate, perhaps his last name or something.

That is pretty cool. Any plans to make clips?

I think you should put a gray nameplate on it, something dark that wont stand out too much and will add to the darkness of the whole amp, and put "Black Box" on it. Sounds killer for an amp. "What are you plugged into? Oh, Im plugged into my black box.

Put some luggage handles on the side.

Then put "BLACK BOX" in big orange letters on the front.

Maybe with an airplane graphic above that.


And trim it with caution tape.
