Black chrome fingerprints

Hey everyone,

Anyone have a problem removing fingerprints on SD’s black chrome?

I tried guitar spray polish, but it made the pickup change to a darker shade.
I tried just buffing it with a microfiber cloth, but leaves streaks.

Anyone run into the same problem?
 
Never seen one without prints lol. Maybe a soft piece of cotton and a tiny squirt of Windex, on the cotton not the pickups.
 
I would just use a dry microfiber cloth and some brisk wiping. I would avoid any chemicals myself. But I haven't done this with Duncan black chrome, so don't know if that would work without issues.
