Black, Gray, and Blue Tweed needs to be more popular

I've recently noticed a few pieces of gear covered in new tweed colors, such as Fender guitar cases, and am wondering why Fender doesn't go all out with it. They seem to be experimenting with more two tone tolex jobs, and mixing tweed with tolex. The recent Swart Amp thread showed me a great example of lacquered black tweed, and I'd imagine gray and blue would look equally cool, lacquered or unlacquered.

Amp companies should be jumping on this as a new trend.

I agree.

Black/Black tweed is very cool, and Black/Gray one is very tasty too...

But I did not like the blue tweed... It's tastes of course...

That blue and white reminds me of a dress shirt.

The minute G&G releases a green tweed Tele case, I'm all over it! My green Tele needs a case covered in this:

...followed by a coat of two of lacquer.

I have one of the black tweed cases. I bought it when I ought my green EC Strat. I bought a black EC Strat new but the green one was used and it came with a molded case, so I bought the black tweed for my blackie and put the green one in the original. But I agree that some black tweed amps would be awesome

You have a candy green Strat? That's probably my favorite Fender color since classic white blonde and two-tone sunburst. I'd love to get one of those some day, or at least find a refinisher who offers that color.
