Black Magic Woman jam

Re: Black Magic Woman jam

Very cool man, Tone fits the vibe quite well, great melody's and lines man, the only thing I might suggest . . . is trying to get the notes to bleed into each other a lil more, not be as staccatto, but maybe that was the vibe you were going for.

All in all, great job man!

Thanks GrandLMan.

My licks were getting a bit dry last night after recording 4 jams beforehand

I'll try making the notes flow a little more next time

Re: Black Magic Woman jam

nice tone ... it matched what would be expected fairly closely ...

in some parts i think you might want to be a little more mindful about the pitch of your bends ... and at some points, the time was a bit 'pushed or pulled' ...

it was cool as a jam ... i always think of that tune as being a bit more composed, so to hear it in a new way was unique and refreshing

thanks for sharing it .. any chance that you could post the backing?

cheers

Nice work! I would like to also see that backing track as well. I thought the tone was good, and the licks tasteful.

Thanks for listening!
I'll keep those things in mind, T4D

The POD patch I used for that was actually a Slayer patch that I made...lol!
I just backed off the gain, added some delay and used a coil from both buckers wired in parallel.

You can download the backing here: http://www.guitarbt.com/index.php?showtopic=153
You might have to sign up to the site (it's free), but it's well worth it. Great site for backing tracks - they have almost everything.
