Black star Series 1 100 6L6 and the EL34 version heads

Hello all,
Anyone get to play these bad boys? They seem to have everything I'm looking in a new amp. Midi control , Series effects loop, more then 2 channels which this has 4 and I would like 3 so more is better right?
I tried the EVH 50 watt head and cab but it fell way short of my expectations and I returned it after owning it for about 4 days. The Volume jump from channel 1 to 2 is horrible , I was able to fix it with my GT100 by building patches with extreme volume differences to get the 2 channels to match.
Then the common EQ setting are very annoying as I couldn't get one channel to come in and the other be where I want it to be. The funny thing about that amp is I like the Clean and OD channel IF they where not shared. I probably will check out the 100 watt head but it doesn't have Midi so I would have to use a 3rd party Midi interface to change the channels.

I'm a MIDIot, but I know that the S1 104El34 is one badass MF'r!! I own one. I have some Blackstar HTV-412's that I played it through, and although it sounded great, it was a tad fizzy. I played it through my Marshall 4x12 1960 cabinets, and it sounded really good. Nice clean clarity. I bought a S1 4x12 cabinet with Vintage 30s, and that's what the head was made for. It's amazing!! I put it right next, if not a tad higher in a rating next to my Marshall JVM-410H. Holler at me if you have any questions.

Did you plug into the 6L6 version? If so what do you think vs the El34?

Has anyone done a side by side with the EL34 and the 6L6 models?
