Black Winter Bridge

I put a duncan black winter pickup in my C1 schecter exotic, it screams! So many different tones and shreds for all rock/metal. It also has a very nice clean sound as well. When split with the 78' that came with the guitar it's a wonderful balance for blues or really anything. So happy with it.

Welcome Tony!

Glad you enjoy them. I don't play BW's, but am more of a fan of their meaner cousin, the Distortion. That said what you describe is right in line with what I hear about from others. Maybe need to get a set one day.

glad you dig the bw! its a great pup and more versatile than the marketing suggests

I am a huge fan I have a set of blackened Black Winters in my SG and a single in my Strat. The touch sensitivity with these pickups is amazing.

It is an unusual combination, but I think that's awesome! Thanks for sharing a success story!

All these positive reviews are making me think about spending the money just to try them out, but I'm still kind of in the Whole Lotta Humbucker honeymoon.

I wouldn't say the Distortions are meaner. They are both mean, but if anything, BW's are hotter and have more bite!
