Black Winter or Full Shred Neck????

I currently have a DDn pickup in my neck position, and I just don't love it. I want something a bit more articulate and tight, closer to a birdge pickup honestly.
I currently have a PATB-2 in the bridge, which I like as it has some balls for palm mutes. Although I'd be open to buying a whole set just to see what its like.
The Full Shred honestly looked like the best contender, but the Black Winter's do sound gnarly. I had also heard using a Screamin' Demon in the neck Position might work.
I play extreme metal, black and death. Typically tune to C# or C, sometimes a step lower or higher.

I use a 6505mh, through a 1x12 with an Eminence Man O' War
Jackson soloist hard-tail. Maple neck-through, with Mahogany body.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Well, the Full Shred is really the brightest Seymour Duncan neck pickup, while the Black Winter has *a lot* more mids to it. The Black Winter, to me, is a little more versatile, although the Full Shred is more articulate. The Full Shred is a less powerful pickup.

Why not the PATB neck? Just as nice as the bridge IMHO

Re: Black Winter or Full Shred Neck????

Isn't the PATB-2 like super hot? I don't have experience with the FS-N, but based on my experience with the Jazz N and the '59-N, I question wether it would have enough power to keep up with such a hot bridge pickup.
