Big fan of both BW and Custom here. Especially the double ceramic Custom is a really nice surprise and it got me thinking: what would a triple ceramic Custom, or a BW using Custom bobbins, sound like? I enjoy playing both a lot for different reasons. I find the double ceramic Custom sounding very close to the Super Distortion, less grainy and somewhat tighter, wonder if the BW recipe is applied to it, what'd be the result?

That's actually what the new Custom 14 is on last year's LTD models. I wonder that too.

In the NAMM video Seymour Duncan did to highlight the new ESP guitars with SD pickups, the ESP rep describes the Custom 14 as exactly that.
