Black winters in alder body and maple neck

I was thinking of installing the black winter in my ltd kh but was thinking of them being too bright, especially when I have a Floyd rose and use a Marshall. Would the winters be good for an 80's thrash kinda tone? Like ride the lightning or impact is imminent?

Black Winters should be a great choice for old school thrash. I don't think you'd find them overtly bright at all.
