Blackout Strat Set

Re: Blackout Strat Set

welcome to the forum!

yup and it sounds really good. i have it wired master volume and master tone with a dpdt switch to change the output on the bridge and neck pups. switch down all three pups are "low" output, switch up the neck and bridge are "high" output. nice little boost for solos. the singles are fat and clear sounding. you wont mistake them for a vintage strat pup but they sound nice clean and take gain really well. output is fairly strong on "low" and noticeably stronger on "high"

Thanks Jeremy!

How was installation battery-wise, or did you already have enough room to cram it in there?

Re: Blackout Strat Set

i dont use the trem on the strat so i block it and put the battery in the trem springs cavity. it also makes battery changes easier since i dont have to remove the pickguard. not that ive had to change the battery yet after 6 months. on other guitars ive put active pups in i was able to put the battery in the normal control cavity so that will depend on your guitar
