Blackout vs non Blackout pup height

Hey Everyone,

I have a Jackson Dinky with blackouts that was professionally setup. I just bought a Schecter Diamond Series Gryphon with non-blackouts. Im tryin to setup the Schecter myself. Is there a difference in pup height between the two??........Also the Jackson is in standard tuning but the Schecter will most likely be my Drop D guitar. So what would be the right height for the non-blackout............and the black out as long as I'm asking

my understanding is that you should always try to get active pickups as close to the strings as possible since they have small magnetic fields, but its all up to your ears. if it sounds good, great. if it doesnt, move it around a bit
