Blackouts 2-Band Tone Circuit wiring

I bought one of these too use in my yamaha bb1600 bass (PJ), and i'm supposed to install a blend knob before the preamp. Does anybody know to wire this:omg: ?

If your original control layout was P Vol., J Vol., Tone, leave the volume pots as they stand. Just replace the stock passive treble roll off Tone control with the active system.

The signals from each of the volume pots share a common output wire. Connect this to the input conductor of the BO EQ. Connect the output of the BO EQ to the tip contact of the output jack socket. (The latter needs to be a three contact type.)

I apologise if my description is vague. I cannot recall the control layout of the BB1600.

If the new EQ has a single input, just place it right before the jack - lift the hot off the jack, attach it to the eq's IN lug, attach the back of the pot (or dedicated ground lug, if present) to common ground, and solder the OUT to the jack's hot lug. Clip the old tone pot off and detach. Done.

No wait, not done, attach the thing to a battery as per instructions
