Blackouts in a Strat?

how would the Blackouts humbucker set sound in a Strat?

my double fat Strat has an alder body, maple neck & fretboard, and OFR.

Blackouts & Strat = metal bliss? :)

Actives sound great in alder bodies to me. I just got my Blackouts working tonight (don't use a stereo cable fi you wnat them to sound good) and they are perfect for metal. And as it turns out, they sound pretty good and bluesy if you dial in the amp right.

I say GO FOR IT!!!
