New OD pedal in the house & D@MN !!!!!....what a fine little pedal :beerchug:

VERY responsive OD pedal. Cleans up with picking dynamics or guitar volume changes.

Brown channel is basically a dirty rhythm & Red channel is more of a lead channel.

I tweaked a bit yesterday....got a Bad Bob Boost in the mail today & these 2 little pedals are simply put....SMOKIN' together!!!

Ran them straight thru the Edana & 2x12 closed back, V30/H30 combo & got that sh!t eatin' grin as things cleaned up nicely with the guitar knob & then got good & gritty as I rolled it up.

I've been trying to find alternatives to the HUGE pedals that were clogging up my board & these 2 little fellas are keepers for sure :bigok:

I've always heard good things about Blackstone. You've been getting some good OD pedals lately. I'm curious to hear a comparison between all of them.
Also, how does the Top Hat Emplexador differ from the Edana? Your Top Hat Rig looks sick!

In the VINTAGE mode, it's a lot alike...only one is running KT66s & the other EL34s.

In the MODERN mode, the EMP goes anywhere from cranked Plexi to JCM800 territory.

Yeah man, this little Blackstone box is a keeper. It's barely the size of a matchbox...well, not really, but compared to the other monsters on my board, it's tiny.

Terrific rhythm & kickass dirt....then add the EXTREMELY clean boost of the Bad Bob & it'll tear some sh!t UP !!!! :laugh2:

Got some more goodies coming. Trading on The Gear Page is my new addiction !!!! :banana: :dance: :banana:

I don't have an OCD, but I hear they're damned fine pedal too!

And that's the downside to trading: you get rid of pedals & don't have the chance to do a direct comparison.

HHHmmmmm.....another reason to get recording stuff

Some I liked better than others, but I don't think there was a bad one in the bunch.

For some reason, I've been attracted by these huge boxes w/wall warts.

Trying to get away from that :bigthumb:
