Blender Pot Problem

i have wired the blender pot and master tone pot along with my new american standard strat pickups. everything is great except when my blender pot or my tone pot are on 10, the sound is cut off.

what could be the problem? otherwise i really like this setup, and the american standard pickups sound really good. very "stratish" indeed.

Is your Blender pot "No load"? I remember Kent saying it doesn't matter if the pot is No Load or not but no harm in asking I guess...I use this system in some of my strats and it's a great thing to have...

Does it suddenly cut off?If it does then chances are that a lead is on the wrong lug.

yes, it suddenly cuts off, and comes back on when i turn the knob back to 9 or lower. i followed the diagrams exactly i thought.

by the way STRATDELUXER, i used 500k pots that i went and bought today so they aren't "no load" as far as i know. i did however take one of them apart because i was gonna scrape the carbon away, and it looked like the "10" position didn't have any carbon there, or less of it anyway. so i decided to leave it alone. my volume is still the 250k that came stock.

so maybe i should move my lead to the other lug?
