Blender Pot

I've searched the forums and it's a bit detailed for my understanding. My question is, in a HSS Strat (which is really HHH due to the two single-coil sized humbuckers in neck and middle), where would the blender pot go?

Theres:

Tone, Tone, Vol... I assume a blender pot will mean you have to sacrifice one of those pots. Talk basic to me about it

Master volume...master tone...blender pot. The blender pot is extremely useful and increases the tonal range of the Strat alot! You can blend just a little of the neck pickup into the full output of the bridge pickup or vice versa. It lets you blend the bridge pickup into the neck and also lets you blend the neck pickup into the bridge. And the connection is very simple. The Fralin Blender Pot comes pre wired with two cloth covered white wires...one wire connects to the neck pickup terminal on the 5 way switch and the other wire connects to the bridge pickup terminal on the switch.

Ahh... also, what pickups does the Blender pot affect and does splitting have anything to do with it?
