Forgot about Dre

Well I scored out the backing myself then improvised everything but the first phrase + the sweeps. Was thrown together quite quickly and I changed the drums to fit how I wanted them to be. I'm not sure if the bass is 100% either since its ages since I heard the original track, I got the strings riff in my head and just had to go score it out.

So I did.

Yeah I've been trying to work on my vibrato a bit, since a lot of people tell its one of my weak areas.

The pizzicotta (sp?) violin is actually a bit different in the recording, but it doesn't matter. I liked it. Cool idea. It really starts to wail at about 2:20

I think its pizzicato but im not sure lol

Anyway the original is actually a clean guitar to my memory - but it was so much easier for me to score out it on violin to save me 3 and a half minutes of playing the same riff

I ended up doubling the strings bass with my bass anyway :smack:

Thats actually pretty cool!! Nice how you took the main backing for the song and turned it into a symphonic thing.

I think you should add some heavy-ass drums and do a Dimmu Borgir style thing on it!

I know, Davey... but what the heck. I'm too old to compete anyway. And nuntius has always had a great attitude. If he acted like an a$$, I wouldn't even talk to him. This is the most important thing to me. I'm here to have fun. I have no problem with the fact many players are better than me because I'm realist enough to know exactly what I'm worth. I'm a good hobbyist player. Period. But I'm having a hell of a good time
