If you click on my gear in my signature, you'll see one of the rarest, best shades of blue that Fender ever came out with...reverse metallic blueburst. I've never heard of blue pearl burst, but know of the regular blueburst and rev. metallic blueburst, plus about 4 or 5 other shades of opaque blue. Never heard of blue pearl burst.
Also, that H-S-S Fender Showmaster looks killer. I want one of those!

Nope. It's mine. She's a beaut', ain't she? Just arrived Monday and sounds as good as it looks. It's not a Showmaster either, it's a stock American Deluxe Fat Strat. New look for 2004.
But to answer your original question, I wasn't aware Fender made a blueburst. At least it's not on their current color chart. Was it a particular Strat year/model? There are plenty of other manufacturer's blueburst examples out there though. Seems to be a light/medium blue that gradates outward to a darker blue/black. Many of the examples show a semi-transparent finish too that allows the wood beneath to show through. Kinda like my baby.

Scroll down until you see a blue strat. Dunno anything about the seller (this lady sells guitars?), but there it is. I just did a google search for "fender stratocaster blueburst" (no quotes). I'm sure there's more than one. Good luck!
