Blues Trembucker in slant position?

Would it matter? Im looking for a guitar for this pickup. thinking of a Kramer striker FR400S..http://www.musicyo.com/product_specs.asp?pf_id=510

I'm not sure...keep in mind that the Blues uses parallel axis polepieces, rather than the standard adjustable polepieces. Because of that, you may have problems if you try to slant it.
