Bluesy wah loop pedal jam...

Phantasmagoria

watch where you point that sabre

Similar solo over the same loop as my last bluesy jam but wayy longer ....with some wah from my Behringer Hellbabe thrown in as well :)
Tried to keep it trad/pure..but lol..I kinda got fidgety & tore into some shred & tapping later on towards that last quarter there :lmao:

Sound quality-wise, I think this is maybe the best I've done so far(!!!) ...lol I do believe this could actually be pro quality with some decent mastering :p

Recording:

Single stereo track from the Loop pedal.

Guitar: AXL Badwater 1216
Drive: NxGeneration VISA
Wah: Behringer Hellbabe
Delay: Nux Time Core
Looper: Nux Loop Core
Recorder: Olympus : LS-20M. No other FX or pre/post production.

Re: Bluesy wah loop pedal jam...

Thanks dudes :beerchug:

Yeah my AXL is a sweet guitar ..it really sings too ...best $150 I ever spent :lmao:

The only problem is I'm not really as comfortable with LP's (style) as I am with my superstrats. I find upper fret access a bit difficult (comparatively) the short scale feels a bit different (I end up over-shooting my 'target' notes pretty often lol) ...plus the toggle switch is in exactly the wrong place for tapping.....I always end up switching pup's by mistake :lmao:

I guess I just need to play it more :)

You seemed to do ok with upper fret access in that clip!! I know what you mean about the tapping, I prefer to use one of my double cuts or my LP with a strat switch position when I do attempt tapping but I don't do it often. The more time you adjust your muscle memory to the switch position of the traditional LP location the more you get used to it.

Re: Bluesy wah loop pedal jam...

lol I guess.. :p but it is just a slight bit more awkward up there with LP style guitars..

And yeah.. the switch position is fine....it's just that I need to play it more often & get used to it..

Re: Bluesy wah loop pedal jam...

Also a little looped riff/sloppy improv'd lead overdub with my Nux Loop Core, Visa drive, Moen Fuzz Moo, Behringer wah & Biyang Tri-Reverb.

Two rhythm guitar tracks, onboard drums, a touch of 'verb from the Biyang Tri-reverb

Moen Fuzz Moo & Behringer Hellbabe wah for the lead overdub.

Now that I'm able to use my pedals ...and hopefully amps (soon :p) with this Nux looper, I can maybe start actually working on stuff like my tone a bit haha. With the Zoom G1Xon it was tough doing anything without the onboard digital FX (could'nt bypass the onboard preamp) :/ ..it's more fun now :D
