For DIY, I've used plywood, a 12x24 shelf from Home Depot or Lowe's and even a 9x16 Cuisinart cutting board, which I still use and am using for my worship band setup. Some velcro on the top and screw in feet on the bottom, done. I have a Pedaltrain Classic as well.

But you won't live forever, so isn't that sort of infinitely non-optimal?

Can't get more basic than this. Couple of pieces of 1/2" plywood held together with rubber bands from the produce department.

I like smaller footprint boards with iso power underneath (dont like daisy chains), so whether you make one or get a pedal train -suggest a smaller MXR ISO brick or Strymon Ojai that can fit underneath the pedals themselves.
