Bogner Ecstasy Blue Pedal

Let it B
Bogner Ecstasy Blue pedal- Marshall Class5. Gibson 335 Studio w/ 57 classic. WGS Green Beret in 1x12 closed back. Pedal is in Plexi mode, Variac on, B1 pre-, and 101 structure. Pedal gain up full blast at first...nice and crumbly low end like a real JTM/JMP Plexi (easy to tighten up by lowering gain, or using different pre EQ/Structure). Pedal Gain back to 1/3 (10 oclock) later in clip.

Pedal is off the first few seconds and its just the Class 5.

Re: Bogner Ecstasy Blue Pedal

I purposely waited a while to listen to this thinking my interest would fizzle out but nope, not the least. Thanks for the GAS....LOL. I like what I hear. That and Red would make a killer setup.

Re: Bogner Ecstasy Blue Pedal

Yeah, the Bogner pedals are probably the best 'amps in a box' type pedals. I don't know all the technical reasons, but I think it's because they use actual Class A Discreet gain stages, not the typical transistor design that most OD's share.

I like the 101 voicing the most on both the red and blue......although the 20th Ann. setting is pretty ballsy for higher gain settings. I'm debating selling my Uberschall pedal, since I have no need for it. I only bought all three because I got a no brainer deal on all of them.

Re: Bogner Ecstasy Blue Pedal

Very cool pedal for sure. I got the Tubemeister up and running again, but am waiting on a new speaker in the next day or two, I hope. Plan on making a Blue through the TM18 crunch channel set cleanish vs. The TM18 crunch channel all by its lonesome.

Higher voltage helps IMO,....Neils' Plexitone is the same 12v...the Bogner has some kind of boosted voltage circuitry built in.
