Got my Egnater Tweaker in finally! (NAD to come, but don't make fun of the speaker it will be sitting on :[ )
A question for those who own one: Do you find the amp to be a bit boomy? I swear I heard it through my 2x12 and I still hear it with the 1x10 I am using right now... input definitely welcome. Its manageable, but boomy.
I have replaced my HT-5 and have found I miss a little of the saturated sound I get from the HT-5 gain channel. Don't get me wrong, the Egnater is leaps and bounds better clean/low to mid gain/and some high gain. But its not as saturated.
I am using a Bad Monkey atm, and was curious if I should look into a different OD to boost/add some gain to the Egnater? (Fulltone OCD has caught my eye). Also, what about putting an EQ after my Bad Monkey (I have a Boss GE-7 in the loop ATM).
Also, I was thinking about popping a Tung Sol RI I have in the V1 spot, would that give me a bit more saturation?
