I need a boost for my K-100. Any ideas guys?

I need something to give me a lead boost/EQ for more gain and mids, maybe even compression for my Rivera K-100. I need this pedal for leads. What about soemthing like a Boss DS-1 and getting a Monte Allums mod?

Papersoul - I have a Rivera hundred duo 12 (R212) and here is how I get a killer sound:

Boss GE7 in the effects loop set to a "V"

MXR Super Comp first in chain before amp (yes, you read that correct) trick is to set the output to 100%

Barber Direct Drive also in front of amp, 2nd in chain, set as clean boost and knob pulled for fat harmonics

Gain on the amp is set low, probably 2-3 on the dial. With this setup, I get killer crunch tones.

I just use a simple MXR ZW-44 and it works great with my Suprema for adding mids for leads or adding thickness for heavy riffing with just a small twist of the tone knob. Its not much in the way of an EQ pedal though but a great boost anyway. Does the K-100 have boosts already built in? Mine has 2 channels and each has a boost. Its nice because just by adding another boost pedals gives me alot of options.

It does have a built in boost but I am tryng to first get heavy basic rhythm tone without pedals. I am going to look into tubes as well.

I used to run my lead channel with the gain almost dimed and then use the boost for boosting the leads. Lately I found I like it better to run it a little cleaner ,7-8, and use the boost for for more crunch and just roll back the vol on the guitar a touch. Its like using a pedal then you have that little extra volume left for leads. Its been great for me because I just dig the feel of the amp better w/o OD pedals. I was w/o my Plexitone for awhile and found now that I can do just as well without it.
