Boss compressor/sustainer and noise suppressor

Hi out there around the world. It's pretty early here in Denmark, but just joined the forum and it is just so cool I can't let it go. Well here is my question- have you any experience with the Boss compressor sustainer in connection with a Boss noise suppressor, does it compensate for the lack of sustain due to the noise gate.

kinda.

by putting the sustain way up and the threshold low on the noise suppressor you should be able to accomplish that
