How do these differ? Does the Space Echo give a more analog type tone? Ease of use? Good to use together?

Any specific information you can give on these two units would be greatly appreciated.

depends what kind of Delay/ Echo you are going for... If short and want added analog reverb get the space echo. If you want more variety in delay tones and longer delays I'd get the DD-20... both are good

Like he mentioned, it all depends on the sound you want. Both the DD20 and Space Echo are entirely different, and depending on your needs you could possibly find something way smaller, and less costly

Two entirely different "flavours" of echo/delay.

The DD-20 aims for clarity and long times. The Space Echo twin pedal aims for a specific tonality, normally associated with multi-head tape systems. The delay time range is shorter but the multi-tap effects presents its own interesting possibilities.

The Catalibread Echorec is another source of multi-head style delay, complete with simulated analogue circuitry flaws.
