Boss GE-7 (EQ) Sniper Mod Question

Has anyone else out there has the "Sniper Mod" done to their Boss GE-7 EQ pedal? I sent mine to this guy at Tone Jam FX to get the modification done, and it's been two weeks—haven't heard from him at all after what is now my third follow-up email. The thing is, in his initial email he stated the turnaround time would be about 24 hours.

Ive seen enough people using them to know they got their pedals back.

In his defense, he does have the following message on his home page:

I tried his numbers and got voice mail. It's a holiday, so I'll wait and see if he responds to my email by midweek.

He did a slick paint job on Steve Stevens' MXR EQ:

Same as the Monte Allums mod I'm guessing. I'm ordering one of those for my GE-7. I'll let you know how it works out.

It's been one month, and the guy hasn't responded to any of my emails, nor has he returned my pedal—modified or unmodified. He's got $50 from my PayPal as well.

As of Sept 7th I will no longer be taking orders for pedals through this website. I've been trying to keep up with things, but my heart truly isn't in it anymore. I'm exhausted, and my regular job has me working too many hours.

I've had a fabulous run, and thank everyone that I've dealt with over the past few years.

I'm finishing up the orders that I have, and on Sept 7, 2008 I will be pulling down the products page on here. I'm keeping the website active just because I have a local shop that wants to carry my pedals. I'll post a link to the store once they have them in stock. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help anyone wishing to purchase them. This will allow me to do a few pedals when I have time.

Seriously - send him a polite email every day. Call him twice a day until he answers the phone and returns your pedal and your money. PayPal probably won't help much if he's going out of business but it's worth a shot.

Crap does happen.. Crazy small world. I know where the guy lives ... well the general area lol.

True, he may just be very busy, but there is a twist to all this. PM me if you want to know about the twist, as I'd rather not publicize it at this time.
