Cool guys, thanks for the replies. May have to try one out. I've had the Digitech and the Vox and wasn't too impressed with either. No dynamics at all.

i find the vox modeler more dynamic and more organic as well than the gt's. well i've only tried the gt-6 or gt-8. i am talking about the the low gain and crunch amp modelers.

i'm not sure about the gt-10.

but for high gain stuff and over the top stereo effects, the gt-6 and 8 would do well.

well just my 2 cents.

Oh, wait.... maybe I should just tell him to MODEL the Matchless. That will sound just the same, right?:lmao:

if i had a Matchless i don't think i'd be using a GT10 in front of it... but hey that is only me... i find all modelers sound best thru PA, powered Monitors, and Keyboard amps

Well, I would hope that he's using the effects only, and no amp model.
